Fly Away.

Just dropping in to update you all! I am currently working on getting photos of my recent art up, but am having a hell of a time photographing them. >.< I DID, however, get a few new photography pieces up; one of which is my most declined (acceptance to groups) piece EVER. Everyone seemed to love the rose one, but not the one with repetition in architecture. >.< The third is a painting I did over the winter. It was really nice to paint... for the sake of creation, rather than focusing on deep meaning and representation. I just let my creative juices flow.



As far as school goes, I ended up not getting the job in the ceramics lab (since I will only be there for a semester, they didnt want to train me). I am just going to have to wait it out here in the graphic arts department. On that note, I turned in my cap and gown form yesterday. I graduate from Rock Valley College on May 20th! Im pretty excited, but a little scared at the same time. I will be graduating with my associates, and moving on to get my bachelors at Northern Illinois University. We are currently in the process of looking for apartments in the new town. o.0

I became a vegetarian over the past few weeks. If any of you know of any good vegetarian/vegan DA groups, let me know! I saw one of those gory videos, and just cant bring myself to eat meat. I have been wanting to make the switch for about two years, but that video sent me over the edge. Ive seen the terrible videos before, but not that bad. I am not going to post the link to the video in the journal, but if someone wants a link, I will deliver.
